Y5/6 boccia competition (compete)

On Tuesday 3rd February, a few Greenwich Primary schools participated in a sitting volleyball competition at Shooters Hill College.

The competition was planned by SGOs / student sports leaders and PE staff, offering a pathway to the London Youth Games.

What those in attendance had to say….

“For many of our children, this is their first time at a sports event and they are really enjoying it”
-Teaching Assistant

“I hit the jack 2 times, that was my favourite bit"
-Year 6 Pupil

“Always great to see our SEND children being given opportunities to play sport outside of our school”
-PE Lead

Each competition recognises achievement at events through a SCHOOL GAMES VALUE AWARD.  This was shown in abundance by all schools at the event!

This particular competition focused on School Games Value of DETERMINATION.
